Your prints will be produced within 1 working day for regular prints or 5 working days for flex prints.
 
The lab is open Monday – Friday – post goes most nights at 5pm and we will most days dispatch the 1 day prints the day they arrive – obviously the earlier they arrive the better. All prints are dispatched by Royal Mail 24 “Signed For”. Most of the time they will arrived next day, but it is not a guaranteed service – though you can opt for “Special Delivery” which is – at an additional charge. Since it is a signed for service we cannot ask for prints to left at the shop next door, or under a plant pot etc! If you are at an acting school its usually best to get them delivered there.
 
We will check your file before printing. If the file you have sent is too small we will contact you for a more suitable file. The time taken to produce your prints only starts once we have a suitable file. Please note that we will adjust the file you’ve uploaded to give, in our opinion, the best possible quality print. Every year we print a couple of thousand different headshot orders – and we’ve been running a lab since the 1980’s, so we kind of know what we are doing.  Due to the different ways photographs are produced they may look slightly different to prints you have had made in the past – and will look quite different to the screen on your monitor. We will not refund if “they don’t look my monitor” – as we have no idea what your monitor looks like.
 
The printer we use will crop about 3mm all round the image to ensure there are no unexposed (or white bits) – photographers understand how this works so PLEASE do not crop it yourself. Also your photographer should have given you a “print” quality file – and they hopefully have colour corrected this file to print perfectly. DO NOT mess with it – you’ll only end up making it look terrible. If you have done this we cannot be held responsible for poor colour or density.
 
If you have prints which you want us to match to you must email us to let us know so we can hold your order until we receive your print.If you have ordered 50 prints or more we can send you a proof at no extra charge – which will be sent by regular post – not signed for.

This is our office address. If we have made prints for you before we can make exact duplicates only if you supply the number thats on the info sheet that you receive with your prints, or is on the back of every print (the number at the start of the second row of text, under the 10x8prints.com name). If you have uploaded the file again you can email us straight away with the number and we’ll swap it for the file you’ve uploaded.

Photographs are, under the terms of the distance selling act, personalised, and as such cannot be returned for any refund. Once in the post the Royal Mail terms apply – an item is not lost until 21 days have elapsed. If you don’t supply a correct address with post code we are not liable for non-delivery.
